My Dad is the master (or at least he was when I was growing up) at spotting new rattles and squeaks in our family's cars. He performed all of the maintenance on our cars, so he was invested heavily in keeping them running well.Read More
Thanksgiving -- what a wonderful holiday! Franicia and I have so much for which to be thankful. We are so thankful for you, our readers and supporters. We are most thankful to God for revealing Himself to mankind and providing a perfect Sacrifice for sin, Jesus Christ. We are also so thankful for our church, Mount Zion in Pensacola as well as our wonderful friends and family.Read More
I've learned a lot about leadership during my time in the military. I've probably learned the most from the senior non-commissioned officers in Navy (Chiefs, Senior Chiefs, and Master Chiefs) and Marine Corps (Staff Sergeants, Gunnery Sergeants, etc). One of the first things I learned from them was "inspect what you expect."Read More
After revising our video's script and lowering our goal amount, we feel as if we are almost ready to launch another Kickstarter campaign. Our first Kickstarter campaign gave us a good idea of the type of support we should aim to raise. We also have more printing options for the children's book I Know You Love Me Mommy and Daddy which will be a benefit if we are able to raise a small amount or more.Read More
Our busy weeks are over. We were able to stay in Arkansas longer than we had first expected. Shortly after we returned from our trip, we prepared for a church family conference. Then some of us caught a slight bit of the illness that was going around amongst our friends and church members.Read More
Yesterday was a nice relaxing morning after having come back from an exciting and busy trip to Arkansas last weekend. Tim was home on leave so we could prepare and attend this week's church family conference.
We had house guests to prepare for but most things were taken care of already. I was looking forward to talking to Tim about a lot of things on my list but mainly because I love talking to my best friend.Read More
Paul, in Ephesians 5:23 wrote, "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." Unfortunately, most people associate the head with greater honor and assume that the wife will be trampled under the husband's feet if he is actually her head. Balancing Ephesians 5:23 with 1 Peter 3:7 really sheds some light on this subject, though. Peter wrote, "Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered."Read More
Debbie has so graciously allowed us to release a print of one of her paintings!
If we reach $5,000, one of our $100 (and above) donors will be randomly selected to receive one of Debbie's paintings on an 8X10 photo paper. One of the great things is that you get to choose which painting from the book you'd like to put up on your walls!Read More
My dear friend Michelle Duggar sent me the following endorsement last week after I had sent her the digital copy of my book.
I Know You Love Me Mommy & Daddy is a delightful children's book that reinforces God's unconditional love that parents are to share with their children.

There are a lot of incentives with each reward tier! Please help us spread the word of this campaign as it is over on October 15 and is an all or nothing event. Thank you!
We are so blessed to have young children who beg us to cook our meals! They prepared a delicious dinner and their attitudes were the best part. Heistheway (11) and Pelaiah (9) cooked all of it while Abraham (6) helped serve. They cooked Chicken Adobo (Estufao), brown rice, made salad and homemade dressing, and cooked green beans.Read More
If I told you that you could make treasure in ten minutes, would you believe me? What if I told you that you could create something that was priceless, what would you say?
Tucked away in a sweet 9-year-old's special box is a white envelope encasing a long hand-written letter on a card. It's not just any letter but some of the last words my mother wrote with a pen for Pelaiah, our second-born daughter.Read More
