We’re excited to share some great news and ask for your help too! Abraham made it to the second round of the 2020 Take Care of Texas Video Contest for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Out of more than 550 Texas students, he is one of 12 finalists.

Abraham is one out of six finalists for the middle school division. The other six finalists are competing in the high school division. Last year’s high school winner was from El Paso. Interestingly, Abraham is the only finalist from the city of El Paso this year.

Voting started today, is easy to do, and ends in two weeks on Wednesday, January 29. If you like his video please consider voting for it! We’ll be extremely excited if you share about it too! Thank you so much.

All you have to do is select two names (1 from the high school division and 1 from the middle school division) from the pull-down menu, enter your name, and submit. Videos and voting are done here on TCEQ’s website:

Note: We wrote to TCEQ to verify about voting yesterday on January 15 and glad we got a quick response clarifying that we can vote once. We are omitting the word daily and letting others know to vote just one time. :)
