Have you ever tried high quality soaps made from goat's milk or buttermilk? They have a rich creamy texture that is moisturizing and the soap bars last a long time!
Recently I bought some handmade soaps from a friend and she was so gracious to give us many more scents to try as well! They smell amazing and delicious and almost edible! Some of the soaps have lavender buds and vanilla in them. They are beautiful to look at too and I enjoyed taking these pictures as a gift to them!
We not only try to eat healthily to care for the bodies that the Lord gives us by eating organic food or those grown and raised without hormones or antibiotics, but we also try to use products that are good for the skin as well.
When I was young, I used to break out with acne on my face. I didn't realize I had sensitive skin. I made a lot of changes and practiced self control from habits that were causing me to break out and my face cleared up. I was even able to be in commercials and photo shoots without the use of foundation. One thing that helped my face to stay clear was to use a good soap --- liquid or a creamy good quality bar.
Faith Farm of Milton, Florida produces their handmade raw goat's milk soaps from their "organically produced goat's milk." Their website says that all of their oils are organic except a small amount of castor. They have a large assortment of soaps and carry unscented ones as well.
These organic soaps include a variety of oils and fats such as:
- unrefined shea butter
- unrefined coconut
Many of these oils are certified organic ingredients as well.
Faith Farm produces soaps to help with a number of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Their soaps are labeled to reflect their antibacterial and antiviral properties. If you love the benefits of activated charcoal like we do, this ingredient is added to some blends. And for those of you who know the history and benefits of Four Theives oils or herbal blends, there is a soap specifically made with the same name!
Many of their soaps smell sweet and relaxing too. There are different lavender varieties with actual buds on them, as well as mint combinations. The Apple Jack one smells like an apple cinnamon pie or potpourri fragrance.
Visit their online store to see the vast assortment of goat's milk soaps they sell! They have so many! Write an email to Hope to ask for any soap that you may not see on their website's store that you see below. They are always making new batches of soap!
Here are some of the soaps that we have and recommend:
- Black Raspberry Vanilla
- Lavender Mint
- Apple Jack
- Four Thieves (antibacterial & antiviral)
- Neem Tea Tree (acne, eczema, psoriasis)
