In 2012, because of the healthy food we were observed eating, our family was asked to be filmed for a cooking show segment on the island of Guam for the military channel. It was aired frequently along with other helpful island snippets for Joint Region Marianas' "Island Palate" segment.
While at work, Tim was often asked about what new food he brought for lunch and why. For many years Tim was always told that his food looked and smelled delicious. Most of his co-workers brought TV dinners or bought fast food on base.
Tim would usually bring organic food we made at home from homemade breads, pasta, pizza, brown fried rice, grass-fed beef stew, French toast with homemade bread, homemade waffles, burritos with homemade tortillas, organic grass-fed beef lumpia, Bircher muesli with nuts and fruit, baked wild salmon with rice, homemade organic sauerkraut and pickles, juicy baked organic chicken, creamy garlic potato salad, pan-seared tuna in coconut milk, baked oatmeal bars, muffins, creamy biscuits, bison saute with rice, seasonal organic fruit and the list is endless but basically freshly made food or yummy leftovers from a previous meal to bring to work.
Because we desire to eat in a healthy way to have more strength and take care of the bodies that are God's, we eat the way we do. We also have to eat so we might as well make it enjoyable and delicious while also giving our bodies the proper fuel it needs! We are big proponents of eating real food and organic when possible. We avoid harmful additives, chemicals, and other things in our food such as hormones and antibiotics. We try to eat seasonal food and cook foods according to the way they should be prepared (such as cooking cruciferous vegetables and avoid eating it raw) and try to do all things in moderation still.
Franicia chose to make organic pizza from scratch using organic flour she made and milled. She used raw organic cheeses as well as a selection of vegetables and organic ground beef. There was also an option to make her homemade foccacia bread with fresh rosemary, red onions, garlic and sea salt but she was asked by a lot of staff members how she made her miniature pizzas during an office beach picnic.
Why a Website?
Around 2004, shortly after we had made large dietary changes (switching to whole grains and learning about healthier foods in general), many of our friends and family kept coming to us wondering about what we were doing -- especially how to eat healthily without the food tasting like cardboard. They not only wanted to have our recipes or learn how to make bagels or bread but they also wanted to know more about loving their children and staying motivated as a homemaker and loving their spouses as Christ would.
We don't believe we have everything figured out. We have a love for learning and continue to learn by His grace. We desire to glorify the Lord and do things heartily unto Him. May this website be a blessing to you!

Organic Bulk Herbs, Ointments, and Salves
For the last eleven years, we have used organic herbs in our main treatment for different ailments for our children. We have seven children (ages 12 and under) and have had to use antibiotics twice in the last twelve years we've had children.
Franicia makes various herbal healing teas she mixes together from our assortment of bulk organic loose leaf herbs. These are based upon different ailments that the children have. She also makes organic bug bite and "boo boo" salves which have taken way mosquito and ant bites under an hour when applied immediately. She has been asked numerous times to sell them because of their effectiveness and trying it first-hand themselves. We plan to sell those soon on our website and are working on the labels and doing research on what we need to do to sell them.
Franicia also makes various organic tinctures (glycerites and alcohol based) we use when we aren't able to buy some since we save so much money making them ourselves and go through so much.
We do a lot of things to save money but also because we enjoy the fruit of our labors and the sense of accomplishment we feel! Though we have high tech electronics that we use as tools (and only during specific times of the day), we are pretty much unplugged for most of the things we do as a family.
We cook almost all of our food from scratch and most of the time it is organic or ones produced without harmful chemicals or those we've grown or cultured ourselves.
We are big lovers of hand tools and have various equipment we use that has no need for electricity not only because they are more inexpensive in the long run but also don't produce so much noise. We motorize different tools when needed to save time and appreciate it's changeability to non-electric mode in the event of an emergency or power outage.
Over the years, we've saved a lot of money on different items that Franicia has been able to sew for our home, children, or as gifts. She taught herself how to sew and has made some dresses for herself and the girls, swimming clothes, toddler pants and pantaloons, curtains, coasters, bags, shopping cart cover, baby and toddler quilts, baby dolls and doll items, natural cloth baby toys filled with cotton and not synthetic fibers, pillowcases, cloth wallets and accessories for the children, and more.
Franicia has also knit a few simple garments for the children such as hats, baby and toddler socks, ear warmers, hand warmers, and scarves. She has also taught our three older children to knit.
Our family also crochets a little and we use items in the kitchen that were produced that way years ago. Franicia makes jewelry from gemstones and sterling silver too.

Franicia shares this fun rhyming book filled with cheerful illustrations to encourage children to be joyful and diligent. Over the years, many people have been amazed that her children have looked forward to helping with various tasks in the house that even some adults try to avoid. In this book, she shows a small glimpse of how enjoyable work can be if you look at the world with thankful eyes and a spirit of service to others — especially those closest to you, your family.

Tim's Testimony of the Power of God
I was blessed with a wonderful family growing up. My parents were faithful to teach my brothers and me how we should live according to God's Word. Being part of a faithful church was also a huge part of our lives.
We moved to the Atlanta area when I was 5. For several years, we attended First Baptist Church Atlanta. Charles Stanley was then and is still a preacher that is used much by God. After the sermons, Pastor Stanley would give an "invitation" to any who wanted to go to heaven to pray with him to "accept Jesus Christ as their Savior", walk down the aisle to the front of the church, and talk with someone about being a Christian.
Prayed the prayer. Walked the aisle.
One night, I decided that I wanted to go to heaven -- I didn't want to go to hell! Hell sounded terrible to me. So, I decided to pray the prayer with Pastor Stanley. Then, I walked down the aisle to talk to someone about being a Christian.
At that young age, I knew that a true Christian would love God's Word, His people, singing His praises, would love to do the right thing, and would hate sin. I tried to do those things, but I knew I was forcing myself -- a born-again Christian wouldn't have to force themselves to do those things. I didn't have the changed heart that I knew I should have.
For months, I would pray "the sinner's prayer" with whoever invited me to -- usually at the end of the sermons. I never felt a change in my heart, but I figured that, since the pastor told me that I'd be saved if I prayed to God to save me, I must be saved -- my doubt must be from Satan.
Through elementary and middle school, I believed that I was a Christian, but I started to see things in my life in high school that were concerning to me. As a family, we continued to worship with faithful churches. I also continued to read the Bible. I didn't enjoy reading God's Word, but I knew that it was important and that I needed to read His Word often.
One afternoon when I was 15 I was reading Hebrews chapter 12 and came upon verse 6.
My heart dropped when I read that verse. I knew that I had sin in my life. I was doing things that I knew were wrong and had many wrong thoughts and wrong attitudes. I knew that many things that I thought and did were wrong. I felt guilty for them, but I didn't hate them like I knew I should. I also didn't feel God's chastening in my life. I knew that, if God wasn't chastening me for my sin, then He didn't love me.
I was terrified
I knew that I wasn't a Christian like I thought I was. The next couple of years were frightening years for me. I knew that I would go to hell if I died in my current spiritual state. I turned to God's Word and asked several pastors what I needed to do to be saved. One pastor told me that I needed to pray and tell God that my life is a glove. He said that I needed to ask God to fill my life like a hand fills a glove.
As I read the Bible and listened to sermons, though, I started to realize that the "sinner's prayer” wasn’t what saved sinners. For 10 years, I was deceived in thinking that praying a prayer and walking an aisle had saved me from my sins. At 5-years old, I didn’t really understand the message and reasons behind praying to God with the pastor. The act of saying the words of a prayer with a pastor cannot deliver a sinner from the wrath of God. God's Word tells us, though, that sinners are saved by His grace through faith in Him.
Ephesians 2:8-9 is clear if we have eyes that see and ears that hear: we are not saved by our works, and the faith through which we are saved is from God -- we can't muster up the faith ourselves! We can't DO anything to be saved. God's Word also says that our good works (righteous works) are as filthy rags in God's eyes.
If I had the opportunity to ask Charles Stanley about the “sinners prayer,” I’m sure that he would say that it’s not the prayer that saves us or the act of walking down the aisle to the front of the church that saves a sinner. Paul, in 1 Cor. 2:14, tells us that spiritual things cannot be understood by men and women who have not been quickened, made alive, by the Holy Spirit. Men and women who mean well can often, in an effort to make the things of God clear to the unsaved, put a twist on scripture that is unscriptural.
Pastor Jeff Pollard of Mount Zion Bible Church in Pensacola often says, "Our bad religion is usually the last to leave us." My bad religion had clouded my mind as I read God's infallible Word, and, if it weren't for God's mercy on me, my bad religion would've followed me to hell.
Peace with the Maker of Heaven and Earth
In the summer of 1997, in the mountains of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, the Lord made my blind eyes to see and gave my dying soul life. There he showed me that salvation was all of Him. I needed not only to repent of my sins -- I needed also to repent of my "good works." I remember vividly when the burden of sin was lifted, and I knew that I was finally at peace with my Creator. Death was no longer terrifying to me because I knew that I would live eternally with God in heaven.
I can now completely identify with John Newton, the man who penned Amazing Grace. I once was lost, but now I'm found. I once was blind, but now I see. God's amazing grace saved a wretch like me. His amazing grace can save you too.
Growing up I thought I was good enough to somehow make it to heaven. I thought my "good" works far outweighed any wrong I may have done.
Then I heard and read Bible verses that showed me that none of my good works would ever be good enough to get me to heaven. These verses greatly concerned me after I battled a sinful college life.
I thought that I was so tarnished with sin that God would never love me. That was Satan's lie.
My pap smear results came back telling me that they were abnormal and may be precancerous. I was devastated.
What did this mean? I thought that I may have a few years to live. I wasn't sure.
A colposcopy was done to me. The doctor told me to prepare for a cone biopsy next and that they would be cutting off a larger amount of tissue. It was a scary unsettled time of my life. I felt so young to be going through such extreme cases with my health. I felt great but the results said something was wrong.
I asked my boss (who happened to be the pastor of the church who ran the school) if the church could pray for me. I prayed and asked the Lord to forgive me of my sins. I trusted in Jesus' work on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. My sins were forgiven!
In those trying times, I found peace in God's love and forgiveness. I was now His servant. I would live my life for Him.
Then I visited my doctor's office. I remember how stunned they were when they read one of my latest results. With disbelief the doctor held up my card and said, "The results came back normal." I cried.
I was relieved and so grateful! I praised the Lord for healing me! I thanked my boss and the church for praying for me. And I told the Lord that I would tell others about how He has saved my soul.

FRANICIA'S LINKEDIN PROFILE
"The Lord worked in my life in a very special way. I was raised in a political family (both parents running) who loved education and emphasized strong family relationships.
Though I was successful as a child and won numerous awards I did not have peace in my life. The Lord used a Baptist missionary to Saipan to introduce the Gospel to me. During my sophomore year while attending the US Naval Academy as the first official representative of our commonwealth (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands) and first female, I decided that was not the environment for me. I wanted to have children and it broke my heart to think to leave them during times of war. I also yearned for a stable family life and one more suitable to my womanly motherly heart and soul.
After I left the Naval Academy is when I was truly saved and surrendered my life to Jesus. My life has been one of peace and better than all other worldly accomplishments put together.
The Lord gave me a heart of homeschooling and homemaking. At the same time, he brought a wonderful Godly man into my life --- Tim White --- my precious husband and best friend.
I use my gifts to support my husband in our family business endeavors however the Lord leads. My primary focus and time is spent on my priorities as a wife, joyful homemaker, and homeschooling mommy while being a blessing to our church, other brethren, family, friends, and other people the Lord brings into our lives.
