Bathing Our Thoughts With Thanksgiving

We have so much for which to be thankful. Life, health, family, friends, our freedoms -- all of these things are wonderful blessings from God Himself. But even more than all of these, God has not dealt with us as we deserve. He's been patient with us and merciful. On top of this, His greatest mercy is providing His only begotten Son as a perfect atonement for our sins that if we believe in Him we will not perish but "have ever lasting life."

How I'm Trying to Prevent DVTs and PEs

Even though I’m a relatively healthy 36-year old...I mean young man, I almost died at the end of January this year due to a clot deep in my right calf (deep vein thrombosis, or DVT) that broke up and went through my heart and peppered both of my lungs (pulmonary embolism, or PE).

A Sweet Reminder of Mom through Our Baby

Tomorrow it will be 2 years since Mom died. 💐God was so kind to give me a baby who has eyes and a nose like her! 💕

Priscilla was almost born on her birthday too. When she looks at me, I see so much love and in some ways...a glimpse of Mom. 🙏

Sometimes it makes me cry and reminds me that she's gone, but mostly I am happy and at peace that I get to see her in Heaven one day! The precious and amazing gift from Jesus cannot compare to anything in this world. We are so grateful to the Lord for that! ❤️

This same man, at the age of 36, narrowly escaped death just a month ago.
