A Sweet Reminder of Mom through Our Baby

Tomorrow it will be 2 years since Mom died. 💐God was so kind to give me a baby who has eyes and a nose like her! 💕

Priscilla was almost born on her birthday too. When she looks at me, I see so much love and in some ways...a glimpse of Mom. 🙏

Sometimes it makes me cry and reminds me that she's gone, but mostly I am happy and at peace that I get to see her in Heaven one day! The precious and amazing gift from Jesus cannot compare to anything in this world. We are so grateful to the Lord for that! ❤️

There's a man we know very well who eats almost exclusively organic and minimally-processed food, only drinks water, doesn't use any tobacco products, doesn't drink alcohol, exercises regularly, brushes his teeth at least twice a day and flosses regularly. He has a very low amount of body fat and is in great shape. In college, he was part of a strength competition at the Army-Navy game in 2000 and completed 50 one-armed push-ups. This same man, at the age of 36, narrowly escaped death just a month ago.

Communication: No Kidding

When Franicia and I were courting and then when we were newlyweds, we would kid around with each other from time to time. Personally, I figured that I was showing my love to Franicia when I would kid around like I showed my love to my brothers growing up. Something interesting would happen when we would joke with one another, though -- often, one of us would get our feelings hurt.
